Erik Schlake
“There is something powerful about changing an entire environment through murals or decorative arts,” says Erik. “In creating a new environment, you are not only able to transform the space, but how people view themselves in that space.” His vision and talents helped to create the murals in North Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Lakes Park. He enjoys participating in Florida street art painting festivals and for several years participated in The Salon, a worldwide gathering of artists featuring exhibits, master classes and more. Hilary Frambes
Hilary created the engaging mural at Estero Community Park. She is an award-winning Florida-based muralist and portrait artist, with large-scale chalk murals being her signature. Her use of color and light has captivated festivalgoers and private art collectors alike. She holds an MA from the University of Florida and a BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design. Holland King
Holland was thrilled to work on the murals at Veteran's Park in Lehigh Acres and at Lakes Park, sharing his passion for drawing that began as a boy with comic books. He studied illustration at the San Francisco Academy of Art and began his career with paintings and chalk art in galleries and restaurants throughout the Tampa Bay Area. He participates in chalk festivals around Florida and works as a freelance artist for a variety of clients, with chalk, acrylics and watercolor/marker being his mediums of choice. Jackie Virtue
Jackie’s successful 45-year career as a fine artist can be seen in her innate ability to interpret nature on walls and canvas, with a specialty in mural work. She is a member of the Fort Myers Mural Society and her work can be seen throughout Southwest Florida, including a 25-foot-long mural in Miami commemorating her participation in Art Basel and a stunning work of art at Valerie's House in Fort Myers encompassing a two-story atrium and "Stairway To Healing." Rolan Ruocco
Rolan lent his talents to the murals in Pine Island, Sanibel Island, Cape Coral and Lakes Park. His compelling body of work includes everything from oil paintings to LED-driven structural constructions and has graced exhibits since the mid-90s in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach County and New York City. His Florida-based studio also serves as home for his New Light Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit that promotes the arts and education through community outreach.
