An essential element of Estero’s uniqueness is its natural assets. Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve was Florida’s first, established in 1966 to protect the bay’s natural resources from development. The Estero River flows through the village offering fishing and boating opportunities from Koreshan State Park. Full of history, this beautiful park offers exploration of 11 beautifully maintained historic structures dating back to the late 1800's. Once known for its citrus industry, the village of Estero has developed into a fantastic community for families with exceptional sport venues, shopping, dining and entertainment.
