A Legacy of Creativity & Conservation at “Ding” Darling

REVIVE! Trash to Fashion began with a bold idea: use fashion to spark conservation. What started in 2019 with Project Refuge—challenging designers to create couture from at least 75% reclaimed materials—quickly grew into a movement. The 2022 return and the Cast‑offs to Couture exhibition at the Tribby Arts Center proved how powerful creative reuse can be.

This year, REVIVE! continues that evolution with over 25 designers debuting original couture looks, all made entirely from recycled or reused materials. It is our most ambitious celebration of creativity, sustainability, and imagination yet.

Revive Exhibitions at the Refuge & Tribby Arts Center

Following the November 4 runway show, the Revive! Trash to Fashion: The Couture Collection will be showcased in two public exhibitions, giving visitors the chance to experience the artistry and conservation message up close.

Revive Exhibition at J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge

November 12 – December 27, 2026

Over 25 designers will debut couture looks created entirely from recycled or reused materials. Displayed within the newly renovated Visitor’s Center, the exhibition invites guests to explore how creativity can inspire environmental stewardship and reimagine the possibilities of reuse.

Revive Exhibition at the Tribby Arts Center at Shell Point

January 8 – February 18, 2027

The collection then travels to the Tribby Arts Center, where the garments are presented as fine art. Visitors can view each piece in a gallery setting, appreciating the craftsmanship, innovation, and storytelling that define Revive!’s mission of creativity with a conscience.
