Food Truck Favorites in Fort Myers

Enjoy the outdoors and feast your way through Southwest Florida’s best local food trucks. Always casual with delicious dining and special events, these food truck locations promise a good time all year long.

You’ll find a lot more than a meal at Backyard Social in Fort Myers. Gather with your friends, meet new people over a game of cornhole and listen to live music in a casual food truck park. This open-air space is located on the burgeoning Alico Road corridor, near Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Florida Gulf Coast University. Everything about this space is Instagrammable, with vibrant outdoor seating and games galore, but it’s the “bites and booze” that keep people coming back to try something new. Take your pick between eight permanent food trucks, like Greek street food, authentic arepas and backyard barbecue. There are games for all ages including four lanes of duckpin bowling, cornhole, darts and shuffleboard.

Downtown Fort Myers has a new outdoor oasis in town. The centerpiece of Bay Street Yard is a covered stage featuring a massive LED TV screen and state-of-the-art sound system where you can catch a game, listen to live music and move to the sounds of a DJ. Play a round of bocce or Ping-pong and order food truck favorites with offerings from Asian street cuisine and traditional tacos to hot dogs and burgers. Pair it with a craft cocktail or browse the extensive menu of premium spirits (including 17 different whiskeys!).

In Fort Myers’ booming brewery scene, you’ll often find food trucks to enjoy a bite with your craft beer. On select days, the parking lot at Fort Myers Brewing Company becomes a haven for a variety of food trucks and live music. Other popular spots for beer, food trucks and music include Point Ybel Brewing Company, Crazy Dingo Brewing Company and Coastal Dayz Brewing, among other local breweries in the Fort Myers area.

Bonita Springs local Chris Magnus and his family brought their dreams to life with Rooftop at Riverside. This downtown indoor-outdoor spot brings together some of the best local food trucks with a rooftop bar. Culinary options include “boat to bite” seafood dishes, American classics, and both sweet and savory crepes. Brighten up your day with a tropical “Calusa Breeze” piña colada or other signature cocktails crafted by Phil Wills, co-star of “Bar Rescue.”
