Powell Creek Preserve is a 77 acre parcel located at 15601 Hart Rd in North Fort Myers. Acquired in 2003 by Lee County's Conservation 20/20 program, Powell Creek Preserve functions as a filter marsh, and provides trails for hiking, geocaching, nature study and photography.  The filter marsh was constructed to improve the water quality in Powell Creek as well as downstream bodies of water.

Conservation 20/20's Prairie Pines Preserve has a total of 2,684 acres suitable for a wide variety of outdoor pursuits. Enjoy Prairie Pines for bird watching, geocaching, hiking (boardwalk as well as marked trails), horseback riding, nature study/photography, on-leash pet walking, and picnicking.
