DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery and Gifts is SWFL's premier cooperative art gallery, counting on more than 25 member artists and hundreds of original and unique items in its inventory.
Opened in April of 2016, the gallery is now located in the Alliance for the Arts campus, corner of McGregor and Colonial Blvd. DAAS CO-OP quickly became a favorite and a staple of the art scene of our area. DAAS became one of the principal cultural venues and the main site for committee meetings and other event functions. The artist-members of the cooperative manage the space at least twice a month and coordinate all activities relating to the venue. The exhibitions and displays at the gallery are curated by founding members David Acevedo and Xavier Brignoni, which set the venue apart from other artistic spaces in town.
DAAS Co-op Gallery has been voted Best Gallery in Lee County in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 by Gulf and Main Magazine.
