Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Multi-platinum-selling Big Bad Voodoo Daddy brings the swagger of swing to the stage with blazing horns, irresistible rhythms, and a show that crackles with personality. Led by charismatic singer and guitarist Scotty Morris, the band helped ignite the ’90s swing revival, giving the sounds of the great American dance halls a bold, contemporary kick.

Their breakout appearance in the hit film Swingers introduced audiences to favorites like “Go Daddy-O” and “You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby).” Their self-titled album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Recording Package, and their career has spanned sold-out concerts at the Hollywood Bowl and Lincoln Center, performances for three U.S. presidents, and the Super Bowl XXXIII halftime show alongside Stevie Wonder and Gloria Estefan.

With sharp suits, powerhouse musicianship, and a horn section that means business, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy blends swing, jazz, and jump blues into a jubilant live performance. Their original songs and spirited interpretations celebrate Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, and Louis Jordan, bringing timeless style and infectious energy to Arts Bonita.
