Set at a Catholic boarding school, the story follows a group of students as they navigate the complexities of identity, sexuality, and religion. At its center are Peter and Jason, two roommates who have fallen in love but struggle to reconcile their relationship with the strict doctrines of their faith and the social pressures of their environment. As the school year unfolds, a production of Romeo and Juliet serves as a backdrop for their internal and external conflicts, leading to a series of choices with devastating consequences.

With a pulsing, contemporary rock and pop score, the musical captures the raw intensity of adolescent emotion. It swaps traditional musical theater tropes for an edgier, high-energy sound that reflects the rebellion and vulnerability of the characters.
