Meetings and events in the Fort Myers area are back in business after Hurricane Ian. Bring your meetings to the green for a productive retreat or browse sophisticated golf clubs for a memorable gathering. You can look forward to building camaraderie on the course, along with evening activities and all the amenities you need for success.
Beautiful surroundings inspire great ideas, and Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa is the perfect place to make that happen. With two golf courses nearby, you can greet the day on the greens. Adjacent to the resort is Raptor Bay Golf Club, a Certified Audubon International Gold Signature Sanctuary, that is undergoing complete renovations to create Saltleaf Golf Preserve in late 2023. Pick one of three full courses at the nearby Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club, or spend quality time together playing tennis, bocce ball or pickleball.
Book a tee time on a public course for an easily accessible day out. Built within a century-old hammock surrounded by nature, Coral Oaks Golf Course boasts 18 holes on an Arthur Hills–designed championship course. Among the swaying palms of McGregor Boulevard, Fort Myers Country Club Golf Course is a longtime favorite with locals. “The Fort” was built in 1916 by golf architect Donald Ross, and members of the public are invited to dine on the patio. Find challenging fairways and other rewarding features at Shell Point Golf Club. This Audubon-certified championship course was designed by Florida legend Gordon Lewis, and the club also features a casual outdoor café, fitness center and salon.
For a less competitive outing, head to Topgolf Fort Myers. Hang out on the patio with cocktails and craft beer and practice your swing in side-by-side hitting bays. Chef-driven dining means you can browse the full menu of delicious burgers, fresh flatbreads and salads, or pick out shared platters of your favorite snacks. Planning a full-team event? You can book the entire space with all-inclusive packages. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, check out the new Topgolf Swing Suites at Chips Sport Pub opening in February. This immersive golf experience is located inside the Luminary hotel where you can play a variety of games while enjoying top-notch food and drinks.
Tiger Woods and his TGR Design team came together to create PopStroke Fort Myers, a miniature golf experience that incorporates the fairways, bunkers and roughs of a full-sized golf course. Plan a day of fun or an evening out in a private event space that includes a round of golf and a full menu of food and drinks.
Keep your eyes open for additional golf course reopening’s, including the storied greens at The Gasparilla Golf Club, The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club within a beautiful wildlife preserve and more. Whether you’re gathering a crew of diehard golfers or seeking an entertaining environment for a group, you’ll find plenty of choices around the Fort Myers areas.
