The roseate spoonbill: pretty in pink

A wide variety of wildlife call Fort Myers home. There’s one that really stands out: the roseate spoonbill. They’re often mistaken for flamingoes because of their beautiful pink feathers, though their spoon-shaped bill gives them away.

Assembling your spoonbill paper craft

  1. Pop each piece out and fold along the yellow lines.
  2. Lay out all pieces so the light pink sides face up.
  3. Wing and tail pieces attach to bird by matching letters together and sliding in place (see video).
  4. Play or display, it's up to you!
