Join SCCF Coastal Watch for a hands-on, boots-in-the-muck experience that helps restore vital oyster reef habitat in Tarpon Bay! Volunteers will assist with filling buckets of shell, transporting materials, and working in shallow estuarine areas to help build structures that support marine life and improve water quality.

Expect to get wet, muddy, and maybe even a little sweaty — but it’s all part of the fun and impact! SCCF staff will provide guidance, safety instructions, and all materials needed. Activities may involve bending, lifting 20-30 lbs., and walking short distances in water or on uneven terrain.

You’ll leave the day knowing you made a direct difference for local ecosystems — and probably with a few great photos and stories to share.

Let’s restore our waters, one oyster at a time!
