2024 Elaine McLaughlin Outstanding Hospitality Service Awards

The annual "E Awards" event, with its western theme, "How the Guest Was Won," rewarded hospitality professionals throughout the greater Fort Myers area for their outstanding customer service. The event surpassed all expectations with an amazing 753 attendees at the event, 842 nominations and 663 nominees.

The positive reinforcement of hospitality professionals’ superior service through this annual event, year after year, inspires them to exceed visitors’ expectations, which can be seen through a consistently high level of repeat visitation and loyal visitors, namely in 2024:

  • 75% were repeat visitors
  • 93% of visitors are likely to recommend the area
  • 89% of visitors are likely to return
  • 95% of visitors were satisfied or very satisfied with customer service on their visit.
  • Over 1 in 5 visitors were loyalists (they had visited more than 10 times)
