Market Blitz Campaign
The Fort Myers area needed to build back loyalist visitation following the effects of Hurricane Ian. The solution? A multimarket, high-impact campaign that was a first for the destination.
The Fort Myers "Market Blitz" campaign increased year-over-year visitation to the islands, beaches and neighborhoods of Fort Myers in three of our four target markets — despite the impact of two hurricanes:
- Cincinnati: 36% increase
- Detroit: 14% increase
- Minneapolis: 18% increase
We observed a 2.4% increase in room nights and 8.5% increase in direct spending year-over-year with an 8% increase in economic impact of tourism compared to July-September 2023.
Campaign performance across channels exceeded expectations, generating 108 million paid media impressions at a $12.94 cost per impression and garnered over 205 million earned media impressions.
