The educational facility provides the appropriate programs and involves research projects that are helping butterfly populations flourish throughout our state!
The 3,614 sq. foot glass butterfly conservatory hosts a variety of Florida native butterfly species. Their extensive breeding program allows visitors to experience the various stages of the butterfly's metamorphosis in a "hands on" natural park atmosphere.
Tickets are purchased in the Gift Shoppe where you can shop and explore nature for yourself, a gift or just because. They have a wide arrangement of Nature's Bounty.
The Gathering Place, a locally-owned restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, with a flair of authentic Belizean flavors. Their signature Cuban sandwich is really what put them on the map, along with homemade, unique desserts that are sure to please your taste buds. This location also features unusual wine cocktails, local craft beers and other tasty adult beverages. Their goal is to make you feel as if you went home for a meal where everybody is family.
PJ Boox Downtown is stocked with local-self published authors, many who are award winners. Come out and support the local talent we have in the area. Who knows, you might have visited some of the places you are reading about.
